Number of available databases

The number of databases you can create depends on the hosting plan that you are using. In case you need more databases, you should look to upgrade your account to a plan with more database slots.

You can create many tables within one MySQL database. That is, you can have several applications sharing one and the same database as long as there is no conflict in the table names. Some software packages allow you to assign a prefix to their tables, so there will be no mix-ups with different software applications using the same database.
