Renaming groups

The process of renaming groups will vary depending on your webmail client of choice:

• Roundcube
• Webmail Classic

Note: The groups Personal Addresses in Roundcube and General in Webmail Classic are system groups and cannot be renamed or deleted.

Roundcube

If you want to rename a group in Roundcube, you need to:

1. Open the Contacts task from the main menu.
2. Select the group you wish to rename.
3. Select the Rename option from the menu (vertical ellipsis icon (⋮) in the Elastic theme and gear icon in the Larry theme).
4. A pop-up window will appear where you can change the group name.
5. Click on the Save button to rename the group.

Webmail Classic

To rename a group in Webmail Classic:

1. Select the Address Book tab from the main menu.
2. Click on the Group button from the menu above the contacts list.
3. In the Defined groups section, click on the edit link next to the group you want to rename.
4. The page will refresh allowing you to enter the new group name in the Name field from the Edit a group section.
5. Click on the Edit button to rename the group.
